About Me:
How do I say this... I'm re-doing my profile! Lets see... I'm a JR in High School in Ashland, OR. My Birth Mother is the creator of Bella Sara trading cards. My Step Father is one of the artists of Magic the Gathering. Both are part owners of Hidden City Games. I, too, am an artist. I paint, draw, write and play music. Music-wise I do Bass, Guitar, Vocals, Keyboard and some drums. Trying to learn to play Violin. I ride bikes, sometime skateboard (still learning...) and love swimming. Also love Rugby ^_^. I spend WAY too much time on the computer, and living with my adoptive mother in Ashland. I love going to concerts. To date, I've seen My Chemical Romance, Fall Out Boy, AFI, The Academy Is, Cobra Starship, and +44. I hope to go to Warped Tour this summer with one of my birth mothers friends, Bryce. He's the live-in chef at my families mansion, and his wife is the nanny. I have two sisters and a brother. One sister and the brother are twins, age 13. The other sister is 4 months. We're all half siblings. No seperate age group shares a dad, but it's all cool. Everyone in my family smokes, I'm trying to not too often but it sometimes happens because of an Ex boyfriend. My nickname is Murphy's Law, and it's WELL EARNED. My room is ALWAYS a mess. That's all you get for now.
***OLD ABOUT ME'S***
about me, about me...where to start? I used to sing in a band, called Define "Normal". We disbanded a few months ago for good reason.
I also work with other bands, because if all else fails become a band manager!
I'm planning on going to art school some day, and I love art. I have my eye on SVA in New York.
other than that...
I'm a very...odd person. I have been described as a spaz, as overprotective, as a 'depressed and struggeling artist' or replace artist with musician or author, as well as a bitch. But that last one has always been by those *people* from my old hometown who liked the idea of conforming me into yet another social robot...and that didn't work out to well.
No matter what happens, I will finnish High School and hopefully travel to NY so I can go to SVA (the school of visual arts), which I've been planning for since seventh grade. I am proud to say that I am indeed an artist, happiest with the mediums of Sharpie and watercolors, and also into the art of music and writing, which I've managed to tie together. I not only write lyrics, but also specialize in poetry and a few half written novels are shoved in my desk drawers. I'm currently working on a teen fantasy that has publication potential.
I'm one of those people who listen to music as a form of staying alive. Some people drink coffee in the morning and I blast my CD player until the neighbors come and yell at me. Actually, I blast my CD player and drink caramel macciatos...but that is sooo not the point. I listen to my ipod constantly, and my family jokes that it's surgically attached.
I'm one of those people who doesn't exactly fit the 'perfect' look that the majority of America seems to be aiming for, but rather I prefer to wear jeans that are a bit to long and a little to loose, tank tops and band shirts, tight hoodies or way to baggy ones, flipflops or the converse that I have let take a bit of a beating lately. I personally have yet to move past the whole black nail varnish phase but am also into the more interesting dark blue nail varnish (or polish to those of you who still lack the basic Brit termanology that having an english grandmother gifted me). It is the one thing you will rarely if ever see me without, my Blue Blood varnish. Though I sometimes fall back on my silver varnish, which is fun and sparkly and goes with more clothing.
Then there are just a few things that seem to amuse people about me:
I'm a cat person, the proud owner of three kittens (Nip, Tuck and Lia) even though I suffer from a cat allergy
I can quote at least one quote from each member of my favorite bands, typically several or in a few cases (Gerard Way, Frank Iero, Mikey Way, Pete Wentz...) several hundred.
I have, in the short fifteen years of my life, gotten in several fist fights, two with my older cousins and one with a girl from my old school who called me a Bitch because I wouldn't let her cheat at Monopoly...
If you poke me I giggle uncontrollably, involentarilly and loudly. And then I hit you.
If you take away my music for more than a few hours, I start to become unstable.
I'm afraid of bikes, because when I was seven I was ridding down a hill and a deer (yes, the majestic deer) started chasing me, causing me to pedal faster, hit a tree and have a snake climb into my lap. I don't like anything snake like, spider like or bug like.
I feel fine dancing like an idiot in front of strangers but not people I know.
I used to be afraid to go on stage but love being in the spot light.
I'm in a band called The Stereotypes (not the famous one, mind you, but one in Portland Oregon with four other girls and our one song is called Carbon Copies) and I sing and write lyrics and play bass
I do darkwave dance music in a band called Codename-Rave
I play bass (have a pete wentz special edition squire thank you very much), i sing, i play guitar (still lacking an electric, but i have a neon blue accustic) and piano (a tiny tiny bit)
Interests:
my interests are few yet many, lumped into catagories that others roll there eyes and walk away from. I live through music and my best friends are the posters on my walls that have watched me cry myself to sleep and dance like an idiot when i'm left home alone. I'm a failure in all things sports other than swimming, which I gave up when I started to color my hair. I write poetry and stories and lyrics and I spend my free time drawing pictures that scare my art teacher. I sing in the shower...I sing in the car...I sing with my friends...put me on a stage and I faint from fear.
